Qwello News+ 1500 Charge Points in Germany

Hamburg, Germany

December 2, 2025

Over the past four years, Qwello’s presence in Germany has grown steadily, establishing the company as a key private AC charging operator nationwide. What began as a developing network has evolved into a reliable, scalable and continuously expanding infrastructure, supported by long-term cooperation with municipalities, strategic partners and a user base that continues to grow year on year.

Qwello today operates in more than 45 municipalities across Germany, including Hamburg, where we installed our 1,500th charge point this week, reaching 200 charge points within the city. Our footprint is also strengthening in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Essen and many other locations as we work to expand charging availability and ensure consistent access to public AC charging in urban areas.

We extend our appreciation to the Qwello Germany team, our partners, city authorities and the users who trust our network daily. As we continue to scale, our goal remains unchanged: to deliver reliable, user-focused public charging to more regions in Germany and across Europe. Our network now includes over 15,500 charge points Europe-wide — reflecting our commitment to accessible, urban charging infrastructure.
